Illustration is coming along nicely on chapter 2. Some of the art was done over a year ago, which was enough time that I have needed to do some revisions to keep the style consistent with more recent work. Despite that I am still on track to have it done in early September. The scope of this chapter is modest.

Also next week I think I'm going to start painting a coral reef where the fourth chapter takes place. My ambition is to paint something more complicated than I have the skill to pull off so I already know it's going to be very time consuming. Since I'm starting a new set of watercolor paintings I'll take the opportunity to document the process and I will make a post when I have enough to share.
